Female Serial Child Molester

Female serial child molester.  It does not seem possible to some.  But a story in the Altoona Mirror says maybe it is:

CLAYSBURG – Police this week accused a Claysburg woman of serial child molestation, saying she raped and assaulted a series of preteens and young teenagers – even allegedly forcing one to sexually assault a 5-year-old girl while she watched.

If the allegations are true this is a horrific case of child rape.  One of the most awful allegations is this:

While at the house, Partsch ordered one, a young boy, into her bathroom and locked the door. There, she allegedly told him she planned to touch him sexually; when he resisted, she punched him in the face and threatened to have him arrested, police said.

She then allegedly raped the child, mocking him when he resisted.

“You’re never going to be a man. Come on,” she told him, according to police reports.

She repeatedly assaulted the child on multiple occasions, allegedly striking him and recording sexual encounters with her cellphone, police said.

“You don’t know how many times I didn’t want to do it,” the child reportedly told investigators.

Partsch forced the boy to sexually assault a 5-year-old girl while she watched, police said, threatening to have the boy arrested if he refused.

“[The 5-year-old] cried when [the boy] touched her,” police said.

The mental cruelty that this case displays is something that is not often disclosed in news accounts.  Raping the young boy and threatening to have him arrested as if he was the offender is awful but to make it even worst forcing him to molest another young child to try to make him an offender in his mind is just beyond awful.

With many female sex offenders it is the mental cruelty, the mental manipulation and mind games that causes the most and longest lasting damage.  So often too many people want to focus on the physical acts alone and miss the fact that often the psychological piece is where the most harm frequently comes from.

    Boys who are sexually abused by adult women may feel emasculated and may worry about how others will perceive their masculinity (Hislop, 2001). Note the following from the report;

    — “You’re never going to be a man. Come on,” she told him, according to police reports. —

Some female perpetrators have been found to use such gender constructions to minimize the likelihood of victim disclosure. For example, one woman who sexually abused an adolescent boy told he boy that the would be charged with rape as he was the male (Saradjian, 1996b).

  2. Update: Alleged molester’s husband arrested

Just days after he announced an about-face decision to divorce his wife, an alleged serial child molester, Patrick Partsch was arrested Wednesday afternoon and charged with aggravated indecent assault of a child.

Greenfield Township police arrested him without incident at the Claysburg home where he had lived until his wife’s arrest, Greenfield police Sgt. Bryan Ketner said.

Ketner said the child Patrick Partsch allegedly assaulted was younger than 13 years old and that Tabatha Partsch also faces new charges for the same alleged September assault.

Prior to his wife’s first court hearing, Patrick Partsch swore he was innocent and maintained that he wasn’t aware of Tabatha Partsch’s alleged crimes, saying he’d “stick by her through thick and thin.”

Earlier this week, he told the Mirror he had realized his wife’s guilt and intended to begin divorce proceedings.

“I didn’t believe it at first, but I read [the charges] and it came to me,” Partsch said.

Claiming he’d been at work at the time of the alleged crimes, which included rape and sexual assault of several children ages 5 to 14, Patrick Partsch said he hadn’t noticed any signs of abuse until after her arrest.
